Central Boys emerged victorious in this action packed thriller that went down to the wire.  Full time score was 1-1 and extra time score remained deadlocked at 1-1.   After an exciting “show down”  Central boys prevailed, coming away worthy winners  -- final score 4-3.

This is the first time that Central Boys has won the under 14 KO final. The outstanding performance was undoubtedly that of Dayaan Cassiem, a  WP under 14 Player and Captain of the Team. But, at the end of the day it was the team effort that pulled it off.

A truly remarkable performance for a squad with an age range of 10 to 14 years.  Only four (4) players will move to a higher age group next year which leaves most of this  talented young squad intact for 2013.  With the continued support of parents and many others, the future looks bright.

Central Hockey Club continues to serve as a vehicle where young players live out their passion for Hockey.  The Club continues produce players of ability and this  achievement must rank high amongst the Club’s many achievements.
